Compliance Certification Board (CCB) announced today that Pierre Simon has successfully completed the Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – International (CCEP-I) examination, thus earning the “CCEP-I” designation. The individual who earns CCEP-I certification is a professional with knowledge of relevant international compliance regulations and has expertise in compliance processes sufficient to assist corporate industries in understanding and address legal obligations, and promoting organizational integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs.
“This professional certification provides individuals from all across the world with the platform to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in compliance and ethics,” said CCB President Debbie Troklus.
The Compliance Officer and Ethics Officer are recent additions to C-level management. Compliance professionals come from a variety of backgrounds, which include management, accounting, legal, and government. Compliance professionals develop and oversee compliance programs to help that the organizations for which they work comply with relevant regulations.
“Law and regulations worldwide are constantly being developed surrounding corporate industries to eliminate fraud. Adhering to these new regulations demand professionals who understand the new regulations and how to implement programs to ensure compliance within their companies,” said Troklus.
Founded in 1998, the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) exists to develop criteria for the determination of competence in the practice of compliance at a variety of levels and to recognize individuals meeting this criteria.
